View Presentation
*James C. Felli, Eli Lilly & Co. Keywords: Benefit-Harm Characterization Multiattribute decision modeling provides a logical and systematic way of thinking about the tradeoffs and consequences inherent in problems of choice involving multiple objectives. We will discuss the basic concepts of multiattribute decision analysis and apply the approach to the framing, quantification and representation of the benefits and harms associated with a pharmaceutical intervention. We will consider the implications of uncertainty in such models and discuss the value of visualization in communicating clearly with stakeholders.
