Audit Committee
Charge:
- Recommend an audit firm to the Board of Directors.
- Serve as the Board of Directors' liaison to the Association’s auditors.
- Ensure that the audit is carried out in a fiscally sound manner and that financial and compliance reports are prepared as needed at interim dates and year end.
- Assess the adequacy of internal controls and risk management systems.
Composition: The Audit Committee shall consist of the Treasurer, who acts as chair, the chair of the Budget Committee, and the Past President.
Last review effective January 1999 in accordance with the 1999 ASA Constitution and By-laws
