Volunteer Opportunities
Science Fair Judges - Volunteers are needed to serve as special judges at two local science fairs: (1) The Region 6 Science Fair will be held at Christian Liberty School in Arlington Heights on Saturday, March 20th, 2010. Judging will take place from 8:30 to around noon. We give a special Award for Best Use in Statistics. (2) The Region 2 Science Fair will be held at the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago on Saturday March 13th, 2010. Special Judging will take place from 9 to around noon.

2010 NIC-ASA Workshop Publicist - The Chapter currently has openings for Workshop Publicists to serve as Officers of the NIC-ASA in 2010. If you are interesting in volunteering, please contact an officer and let them know.
Registration Assistant - Chapter Meetings - Volunteers are needed to help with registration at the Spring and Fall Meetings and Summer Workshop. Registration volunteers will be expected to arrive about a half-hour prior to the start of the registration period and will work at the registration desk as directed by our new Chapter Treasurer, Serena Chan. This is a great way to connect faces with names and get to know other Chapter members.
