The American Statistical Association invites you to indicate that you intend to apply for “Professional Statistician (PStat)” status through its program of voluntary individual accreditation. Information for applicants, including the guidelines for accreditation, are found here.

The application process is completely online. When you request an application, the ASA will send you message explaining how to access your form. However, access to the application form is limited to ASA members. Therefore, you may request the application without being an ASA member, but you will need to join the ASA before you can actually apply.

Requesting an application form does not obligate you to apply. It does, however, indicate that you believe you meet the guidelines or will meet the guidelines by the time you are submit your application.
